Jewish Americans have been a core a part of the Democratic coalition for generations. But Israel’s retaliatory struggle towards Hamas in Gaza and the turmoil it set off, together with protests and a spike in antisemitic incidents, make Republicans imagine they’ll make inroads with Jewish voters.
