The authorities started recording the quantity of people that have made the damaging journey virtually seven years in the past, on 1 January 2018.
The milestone was reached on Boxing Day, when 407 individuals crossed the Channel on 10 boats – bringing the federal government’s tally to 150,243.
On Christmas Day, greater than 450 migrants arrived within the UK in 11 boats.
