Listen to nearly any dialog over the previous decade or two about essentially the most helpful coaching and abilities for profession prospects within the twenty first century and it’ll in all probability have been dominated by science, know-how, engineering, maths and coding, the FT’s chief knowledge reporter, John Burn-Murdoch writes.
Clearly, demand has certainly been very robust. But the implicit assumption that it’s particularly the quantitative and technical facets of those professions that make them nicely rewarded just isn’t borne out by the proof.
