Cities alongside the California coast are warning residents that the tough waters brought on by a Pacific storm this week can rapidly flip into harmful waves.
"Stay away from rocks, jetties, piers, and other waterside infrastructure," the National Weather Service within the Bay Area stated on social media. "Never turn your back to the ocean!"
