Hungary’s new PM vows to revive media freedom

Hungary’s incoming prime minister Peter Magyar confirmed on Wednesday that he plans on suspending the nation’s public media broadcasts till press freedoms may be ensured. Long shunned from pro-government shops, the newly elected chief went on public tv and radio on Wednesday denouncing what he referred to as “a factory of lies” managed by the outgoing prime minister Viktor Orban.
