Former BBC broadcaster Huw Edwards has been given a six-month suspended jail sentence after he admitted possessing youngster abuse pictures.
The court docket heard how the previous presenter paid as much as £1,500 to a paedophile who despatched him 41 unlawful pictures.
His lawyer stated Mr Edwards was profoundly sorry and he was conscious that he had "betrayed the priceless trust" of so many individuals.
