Iberian lynx rebounds from ‘endangered’ standing

The Iberian lynx has rebounded from "endangered" to "vulnerable," a brand new research by the International Union for Conservation of Nature introduced.

The inhabitants of the uncommon wild cat has greater than tripled since 2022 — rising from 648 in 2022 to a inhabitants estimated to be over 2,000 right now, in line with estimations by the IUCN.

Conservationists say it’s the "greatest recovery" of a cat species ever achieved by conservation, the rebound coming following a two-decade-long conservation push.
