Professor Alex Jay CBE, Chair of the Independent Inquiry into Child Sexual Abuse (IICSA), and Secretary John O’Brien take questions from the Home Affairs Committee on the implementation of IICSA suggestions.
The inquiry was arrange in 2015 by the then Conservative authorities and carried out 15 investigations, together with into grooming gangs and abuse in colleges and the church.
The IICSA’s closing report was printed in 2022 and set out 20 suggestions it stated had been obligatory to cut back baby struggling, however charity The Survivors Trust say that two years later, none have been absolutely applied.
