The LA Innocence Project has taken up the infamous case of convicted killer Scott Peterson in new court docket filings, ABC News has discovered completely. Peterson was arrested and charged with first-degree homicide within the demise of his spouse and second-degree homicide within the demise of their unborn son. He was convicted in 2004 and sentenced to demise in 2005. He was later sentenced to life in jail with out parole.
