The ‘Insidious’ franchise returns with a brand new household and a brand new terror that redefines what The Further is able to. Gemma (Amelia Eve), a younger mom, is elevating her daughter in the home she grew up in when she discovers she will journey into The Further, a purgatorial realm of misplaced souls. When one thing evil comes after her, Gemma discovers a capability that enables her to deliver what lives there again to the actual world. Once the demons notice her energy, our world turns into their playground. The movie, which co-stars Lin Shaye, hits theaters on Aug. 21.
