President Donald Trump has ordered the US Navy to fireplace on any Iranian boats which can be putting mines within the Strait of Hormuz, the vital power chokepoint that carries about one-fifth of all international crude oil.

At the identical time, Trump stated that the United States has been working to clear mines from the strait.
