Israel Hamas newest: Why the ceasefire by no means occurred

The Israeli Defense Force says it has taken ‘operational management’ of the Gaza aspect of the Rafah crossing, the primary entry level for support into the area. It comes lower than 24 hours after Hamas mentioned they’d settle for a ceasefire deal drawn up by Egyptian mediators.
