Deputy Permanent Observer of the State of Palestine to the UN, Ambassador Majed Bamya, tells Sky’s Yalda Hakim that the acknowledgement of Palestine by many international locations is "a reminder that Palestine is entitled to liberty".
He went on to say that this transfer recognised the imaginative and prescient that the Palestinian Authority can "take over in Gaza" and a state of affairs the place "Israel withdraws instead of trying to displace our population and seize our land" is an possibility.
