United Nations Under-Secretary-General for Humanitarian Affairs, Tom Fletcher says the US has "cheered on" Israel’s battle efforts in Gaza. This comes after a Sky News investigation confirmed a rise within the variety of support staff killed within the battle.
Speaking to Sky’s Yalda Hakim, Mr Fletcher says Israel "want to completely control the delivery of aid", and there’s a "deliberate strategy of withholding aid" by Israel so as "to put more pressure on Hamas to release hostages".
He goes on to say that proper now, there may be solely a "tiny, tiny fraction of what is needed to stop massive starvation and disease in Gaza", and that UN is "not allowed" to ship the a lot wanted support.
Yalda begins by asking Mr Fletcher about his response after eight Palestinian medics have been recovered from a mass grave.
