Israel stated it launched an expanded floor assault on Gaza City on Tuesday in defiance of worldwide condemnation, as Palestinians fled the enclave’s largest city space in waves amid escalating bombardment. The strikes come as an unbiased UN inquiry concluded that Israel is committing genocide in Gaza, discovering, partly, that civilians within the battered enclave “were targeted collectively due to their identity as Palestinians.”
