Israel’s plan for civilians in Rafah to evacuate to protected space ‘is a fantasy’ | Israel-Hamas warfare

The UK’s former ambassador to Libya and Jordan has instructed Sky News he believes Israel’s plan for civilians in Rafah to be evacuated to a protected space is a "fantasy".

Speaking to Gareth Barlow of Sky’s Breakfast present, Peter Millett mentioned: "The whole of Gaza has been obliterated, there are no safe spaces anymore."

Israel’s defence minister has mentioned the order to assault the town of Rafah, within the southern Gaza Strip, will probably be given "very soon".
