James Van Der Beek, who was identified with most cancers in 2023, died Feb. 11 on the age of 48, the ‘Dawson’s Creek’ actor’s household confirmed. The actor, beloved for his portrayal of the present’s titular character, died Feb. 11 after battling colorectal most cancers. The ‘Varsity Blues’ star is survived by his spouse Kimberly Van Der Beek and their youngsters Olivia, Joshua, Annabel, Emilia, Gwendolyn and Jeremiah. "Our beloved James David Van Der Beek passed peacefully this morning," an announcement posted to Instagram confirmed. "He met his final days with courage, faith, and grace. There is much to share regarding his wishes, love for humanity, and the sacredness of time. Those days will come. For now we ask for peaceful privacy as we grieve our loving husband, father, son, brother, and friend."
