William Manzione, who was evacuated from the Japan Airlines aircraft that collided with a coastguard aircraft at at Tokyo’s Haneda airport, mentioned he did not realise the extent of the state of affairs till after he evacuated the plane and noticed it engulfed in flames.
Mr Manzione praised the crew on board the flight, saying "they were amazing" and that everybody bought off the aircraft "in a few minutes".
