ET spoke with Jim Caviezel, Willem Dafoe and Christian Bale about taking part in biblical icon Jesus Christ on display. Caviezel recalled his first assembly with director Mel Gibson about 2004’s ‘The Passion of the Christ,’ and getting struck by lightning whereas filming the crucifixion scene. Dafoe addressed the controversy surrounding his and Martin Scorsese’s 1988 adaptation of Nikos Kazantzakis’ historic novel, ‘The Last Temptation of Christ.’ Between his roles in ‘American Psycho’ and ‘Mary, Mother of Jesus,’ Bale admitted he skilled extra nightmares whereas portraying Jesus than he did with Patrick Bateman.
