Jim stated in French as he accepted an award honoring his storied profession, "Thank you to my sublime companion, Min Ah. I love you, Min Ah." Jim was beforehand married to Melissa Womer from 1987 to 1995, throughout which the pair welcomed Jane. He was briefly wed to his ‘Dumb and Dumber’ costar Lauren Holly, earlier than courting Renée Zellweger and Jenny McCarthy within the 2000s.
