Jimmy Kimmel Pranks Jodie Foster Over Her 1977 Oscars Date

That prompted Kimmel to point out a photograph of a teenage Foster on the 1977 Oscars along with her mom and a date named Todd. Foster was nominated for Best Supporting Actress for “Taxi Driver,” and he or she’d requested Todd to accompany her on Tinseltown’s largest evening.
“He was the cutest boy in my class,” she informed Kimmel. “You’re out there somewhere, Todd.”
But her relationship with Todd didn’t have a Hollywood ending.
“He didn’t like me anymore after that,” Foster stated.
The “Silence of the Lambs” Oscar winner informed Kimmel that she has run into Todd “every once in a while” at a Baskin-Robbins ice cream retailer, which is the place she noticed him final.
“We have a surprise for you actually,” Kimmel stated. “Todd is here with us tonight.”
Foster’s face lit up with expectation, however the digital camera zoomed in on what was clearly an actor carrying a wig like Todd’s coiffure and gesturing for Foster to name him.
