Kemi Badenoch defends file as Tory chief and says Golders Green assault is a ‘nationwide emergency’

Kemi Badenoch has defended her file as chief of the Conservatives and declared the assault in Golders Green a "national emergency".

She informed The Cathy Newman Show: "I used to be in Golders Green simply a few hours in the past, and I can not inform you how palpable the worry that folks there have. They are scared, individuals saying that being visibly Jewish now’s unimaginable.

"They’re advising their family and their children, their friends, to not look Jewish so they don’t get attacked. It was also quite striking that they do believe that they have to protect themselves."
