The draped ivory robe and nipple bodice that the ‘Kardashians’ star wore on the steps at New York City’s Metropolitan Museum of Art wasn’t really her full outfit. As it turned out, the ensemble from GapStudio by Zac Posen featured large angel wings, which Kendall unveiled as soon as she made her means into the May 4 social gathering. Tapping into the night time’s "Fashion Is Art" costume code, the removable accent included an enormous photographic print of the "Winged Victory of Samothrace" and spanned virtually the width of the purple carpet. The robe—hand-dyed in tea—was meant to evoke the "wet drapery" look of the enduring statue, also called "Nike of Samothrace."
