The King and Donald Trump have hailed the "special relationship" between the UK and the US in speeches throughout a state banquet at Windsor Castle.
It was a day filled with pomp and pageantry – from the carriage procession which carried Mr Trump, first girl Melania Trump, and the King and Queen to Windsor Castle, to the lavish banquet held within the president’s honour.
