Knife crime: ‘Kids have to know lecturers usually are not punch luggage’, shadow training minister says

Sky News speaks to shadow training minister Neil O’Brien after our unbiased investigation revealed that nearly one in 5 secondary faculty lecturers in England have seen college students with knives in faculties.

Mr O’Brien mentioned: "So much more needs to be done about disorder and violence within our schools, both to keep our kids safe but also to keep good teachers in the profession."

He added: "It’s one of the main things that drives teachers out of teaching in state schools and so that is why we are pressing to amend the schools bill and keep trying to do that as it goes through the House of Lords"
