Larry Birkhead is unpacking his and Anna Nicole Smith’s Hollywood story. The former superstar photographer detailed his time with the late ‘Anna Nicole Show’ alum—with whom he shares daughter Dannielynn Birkhead, 19—and her lawyer Howard Ok. Stern, admitting that their unconventional life-style had its challenges. “I don’t want people to run with this, but it kind of felt a little cult-like,” Larry informed Bunnie Xo on the March 22 episode of the ‘Dumb Blonde’ podcast. “I didn’t want to be an entourage member, so I maintained independence. I tried to, as much as I could. I still worked and did my own thing.” While the 53-year-old gave Howard, 57, credit score for working “tirelessly” on Anna Nicole’s behalf and being a “father figure” to her son Daniel Smith—who died in September 2006 at age 20—he criticized the lawyer for “stepping into the relationship territory” amid his romance with the actress.
