‘Let my little teddy bear fly around the globe once more’: Mother pays tribute to son killed in assault

The mom of a nine-year-old boy killed when a person drove a automotive by a packed Christmas market has paid tribute to her son.

Andre Gleissner was amongst 5 individuals who died within the assault on Friday night within the German city of Magdeburg.

In a tribute on social media, his mom Desiree Gleissner, wrote: "Let my little teddy bear fly around the globe once more… Andre did not do something to anybody…

"He was only with us on earth for 9 years… why you… why. I don’t understand…"

A 50-year-old suspect, who arrived in Germany in 2006 from Saudi Arabia, has been remanded in custody in reference to the assault.
