Liberal Democrat chief Sir Ed Davey has made a splash unveiling plans to create a "Clean Water Authority" – to make sure the cleanliness of rivers.
The plan would come with scrapping regulator Ofwat as a part of renewed efforts to sort out sewage air pollution and reform the water sector throughout England and Wales.
