Lincoln Project advert focuses on Trump’s trending scent

The Lincoln Project launched an advert over the weekend attacking former President Donald Trump, saying he “smells bad.”

In an X publish Sunday, the anti-Trump group posted, “Is that you Donald?” with the hashtag #TrumpSmells. The publish featured a roughly 40-second video titled, “Limburger,” that reveals photos of rubbish, feces, outdated cheese, and dirty diapers, whereas voices within the video are sniffing and coughing.

During one shot of the Trump Tower, a voice says, “Claiming the former president smells bad.”

Comedian Kathy Griffin is then heard saying, “The Donald has a distinct smell. It’s like body odor with a scented makeup product.”

Another voice is heard saying, “Ew, Donald. Is that you?”

Conversations in regards to the former president’s physique odor began earlier this month when former Rep. Adam Kinzinger posted about Mr. Trump’s scent on X.

“I’m genuinely surprised how people close to Trump haven’t talked about the odor,” the Illinois Republican posted on Dec. 16. “It’s truly something to behold. Wear a mask if you can.”

Trump marketing campaign spokesman Steven Cheung railed towards Mr. Kinzinger in response to the publish.

“Adam Kinzinger farted on live TV and is an unemployed fraud,” he instructed Newsweek. “He has disgraced his country and disrespects everyone around him because he is a sad individual who is mad about how his miserable life has turned out.”

The Washington Times has reached out to the Trump marketing campaign.
