Linda Yaccarino, the recently appointed CEO of X, announced this week that the platform is taking significant steps to address information regarding the Israel-Hamas conflict. This decision comes in response to criticism from a European Union commissioner regarding the platform’s handling of the violence.
Ms. Yaccarino, the CEO, stated in a letter that the company has made substantial adjustments in resource allocation to address the problem. She further mentioned the establishment of a leadership team to tackle the issue, which has resulted in the removal of numerous deceptive or inaccurate posts.
The letter comes as a response to EU Commissioner Thierry Breton’s letter accusing the site of spreading wrong information.
