Broadway star Imani Dia Smith has been killed. Officials confirmed that the 26-year-old actress and singer, who portrayed Young Nala in ‘The Lion King’ musical from 2011 to 2012, died Dec. 21 after being stabbed at her residence in New Jersey. Police have arrested suspect Jordan D. Jackson-Small and charged him with first-degree homicide, second-degree endangering the welfare of a kid, third-degree possession of a weapon for an illegal goal, and fourth-degree illegal possession of a weapon. Imani is survived by her 3-year-old son, mother and father Monique Rance-Helper and Rawni Helper, in addition to two siblings.
