Live: French President Macron pays tribute on tenth anniversary of Charlie Hebdo journal assault

French President Emmanuel Macron and Paris Mayor Anne Hidalgo be part of these paying tribute and holding a second of silence for the victims of the lethal assault on the places of work of Charlie Hebdo journal ten years in the past. In January 2015, Cherif and Said Kouachi, two French-born al-Qaida extremists angered by caricatures depicting Muhammad the journal printed, stormed its newsroom and killed 12 folks, together with the chief editor, a number of cartoonists and police officer Ahmed Merabet.
