A curfew has begun throughout components of downtown Los Angeles in response to a number of days of protests.
The metropolis’s mayor Karen Bass stated the transfer was crucial to guard companies from being looted.
However, California governor Gavin Newsom stated Donald Trump’s determination to ship within the National Guard had infected the scenario and democracy was "under assault".
The protests are in response to raids carried out by the US Immigration and Customs Enforcement company (ICE).
