Louvre employee says workers warned museum about safety flaws

A safety employee on the Louvre has informed Sky News that "obsolete" gear and a "drastic cut in staff" meant it was harder to guard the world-famous Paris museum.

The audacious heist occurred on Sunday, with jewels belonging to Napoleon and French regents taken by the perpetrators.

Police suppose the theft was carried by an organised legal gang stealing to order.
