A aircraft believed to be carrying Nicolas Maduro landed close to Stewart Air National Guard Base in New York, after the Venezuelan president was captured by US forces in Venezuela this morning.
The president and his spouse had been embarked aboard the USS Iwo Jima, an American assault ship, which was sure for the US.
