Major disruption in Channel Tunnel after energy failure as passengers urged to postpone journeys

Eurostar has informed passengers to not journey due to disruption within the Channel Tunnel.

The operator mentioned there’s a downside with the overhead energy provide and a failed Le Shuttle practice.

Eurostar’s web site reveals 4 providers between London and Paris have been cancelled on Tuesday, and an additional three are delayed.

Le Shuttle mentioned its providers are quickly suspended for each terminals, with a delay of round three-and-a-half hours on the Folkestone aspect.

Sharing an replace on its web site, Eurostar mentioned: "We strongly advise all our passengers to postpone their journey to a distinct date.

"Please do not come to the station except you have already got a ticket to journey.
