A person in western Waterbury, Connecticut deliberately set his house on hearth to flee after allegedly being held captive by his stepmother for greater than 20 years. Police mentioned the 32-year-old man was "extremely emaciated" and the Waterbury Chief of Police referred to as it "the worst treatment of humanity" he has witnessed in his 33 12 months profession. The stepmother, recognized by police as Kimberly Sullivan, has denied all allegations of wrongdoing.
