A person has been charged in reference to an alleged Iranian plot to assassinate US President elect Donald Trump earlier than he was elected as the following president.
The US Justice Department says Farhad Shakeri was an Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps asset tasked with planning a technique to kill Donald Trump – who was known as ‘sufferer 4’.
The plot is in line with what federal officers say are ongoing efforts by Iran to focus on U.S. authorities officers on American soil.
