A person has been discovered responsible of rape after one other man wrongfully served 17 years in jail for the crime.

In 2003, a younger mom was dragged into bushes on an embankment subsequent to the M61 motorway in Salford, Greater Manchester, within the early hours of the morning and overwhelmed, choked and raped.

Andrew Malkinson was convicted and handed a life sentence with a minimal time period of seven years in 2004 after being wrongly picked out of an identification parade, however stayed in jail for one more decade as he maintained his innocence.

A jury at Manchester Crown Court has now discovered Paul Quinn, 52, responsible of the rape.
