A person has been discovered responsible of tried homicide over an assault on writer Sir Salman Rushdie.
Following a trial in Chautauqua County Court, Hadi Matar, 27, was discovered responsible by a jury of trying to homicide Sir Salman after lower than two hours of deliberations.
The 77-year-old British-American author was stabbed a number of occasions and was blinded in his proper eye, as he was making ready to provide a speech in New York in 2022.
