Manhunt after two law enforcement officials shot lifeless and third significantly injured in Australia

A manhunt is underway for a gunman who shot and killed two officers and significantly injured one other at a rural property in a distant a part of Australia, police have mentioned.

The wounded officer was "shot in the lower body" within the incident close to Porepunkah, a city of round 1,000 individuals roughly 300km (190 miles) northeast of Melbourne, shortly after 10.30am, Victoria Police mentioned in a press release.
