Mary Earps has spoken to Sky News about her shock retirement from the Lionesses.
A Euros winner and World Cup finalist, the star introduced her departure from the worldwide stage in May after Hannah Hampton was given the No1 jersey by England coach Sarina Wiegman for the Euros.
Earps advised Sky News the choice to give up was "maddening" and "agonising", however concluded "the best thing to do was to remove myself from the situation".
