Campbell is 50-year-old Val, a loyal spouse and stay-at-home mother, who is raring to reignite the spark in her marriage when her youngest youngster leaves for school. Grappling with empty-nest emotions, loneliness and rising emotional distance from her husband Ross (Russell Hornsby), Val begins to appreciate that her marriage and the lady she as soon as was, could also be slipping away.
