Mass firings have begun throughout federal companies, with terminations of probationary workers underway on the Department of Education and the Small Business Administration, federal workers and union sources advised CNN. Former Communications Director for VP Harris, Jamal Simmons says he thinks the mass firings sign that one thing else is afoot.
