The objective of the Hospice and Palliative Medicine Fellowship at Mayo Clinic’s campus in Rochester, Minnesota is to develop educational leaders who’ve excellent expertise in scientific palliative care, analysis, medical schooling, and administration.
Our program trains three fellows per class, providing a complete scientific and educational curriculum that allows trainees to achieve world-class experience. Additionally, our interdisciplinary workforce gives superior experience in team-based collaboration and the assorted roles intrinsic to high quality palliative care.
Fellows develop exemplary scientific expertise by making use of palliative ideas to the administration of advanced sickness throughout the total spectrum of hospice and palliative care. Fellows rotate via inpatient, outpatient, and consultative palliative care together with pediatric palliative care on the Rochester campus and inpatient and home-based hospice via Mayo Hospice.
