Mick Lynch: Labour saying they support strike “doesn’t butter any parsnips”

The Labour frontbench saying they support our right to strike "doesn’t butter any parsnips" says RMT’s Mick Lynch on a picket line.

The union’s general secretary also accused the government and the Department for Transport of disrupting negotiations by inserting "driver-only operation" into the deal late on a Sunday evening.

Mr Lynch concluded that the government must want wide-ranging strikes across the country to go ahead.
