Activists on board the flotilla of vessels say they’re getting ready for the Israeli navy to intervene as they approached the besieged Palestinian territory on Wednesday, after a tense evening within the Mediterranean Sea.

The Global Sumud Flotilla, with Greta Thunberg, Nelson Mandela’s grandson, Mandla Mandela, and a number of other European lawmakers aboard, consists of practically 50 boats and 500 activists and is carrying a symbolic quantity of humanitarian assist.

It has remained undeterred in its mission to interrupt the Israeli blockade of the coastal strip and attain Palestinians.
