Minister defends authorities’s report on stopping small boats
Cabinet Office minister Nick Thomas-Symonds has insisted to Sky News authorities insurance policies to cease migrants illegally crossing the Channel are "making a significant difference".
He was talking forward of a gathering between the French chief Emmanuel Macron and Sir Keir Starmer.
It has been extensively reported {that a} "one in, one out" deal is being thrashed out, which might imply the UK would settle for one legit asylum seeker from France, in alternate for them taking again one unlawful immigrant who crossed on a small boat.
