A manhunt is underway after a US politician and her husband have been shot and killed of their residence in a "politically motivated assassination" – and one other politician and his spouse have been additionally shot.
Minnesota state consultant Melissa Hortman and her husband have been killed at their properties, Tim Walz, the governor of Minnesota, confirmed.
