‘Missed alternative’ to take beginner footballer who died of sepsis to hospital, coroner says
A coroner has dominated on the demise of Luke Abrahams, 20, who died of sepsis after feeling unwell with a sore throat in January 2023. His mother and father consider there have been errors in his care and {that a} misdiagnosis contributed to their son’s demise.
Jake Abrahams, Luke’s brother, says it has been "harrowing" to sit down via the inquest.
"When mistakes are made in the NHS, the consequences can be fatal, lives are lost, families are destroyed," he mentioned.
